Right
from the start, Zarka Chamber of Industry (ZCI)
Services was designed to satisfy both international and local industrial
requirements, needs, and standards. Thus, they are solidly grounded, but also
needs oriented, and are periodically revised in accordance with technical and
business advances. They are mostly directed at providing members of the
chamber, interested public and private establishments with updated information
concerning industry in Zarka and Mafraq Governorates in particular and
industrial sector in Jordan in general.
In
order to provide a systematized and effective interaction with industrialists
and entrepreneurs in Zarka and Mafraq Governorates and elsewhere,
(ZCI) has
computerized all its activities through completing its data bank, a fully
operational , staffed and equipped industrial library
to supply our members and the local community with an electronic, hardcopy
knowledgebase and reference publications specific to their needs, the library
services are accessible to top and middle management as well as technical and
production staff of (ZCI)
member companies and other associated partners . Also the Chamber continuously
updates the “ Zarka Industrial Directory
“ which contains, the names, addresses and products of all industrial
establishments in Zarka and Mafraq Governorates
Protecting
the environment is considered by the Board of Directors of the Chamber as a
high – priority, therefore and in order to enable industrial establishments in
Zarka and Mafraq Governorates to develop, (ZCI)
has recently formed a private shareholding company to build, own and operate an
industrial wastewater treatment plant to handle the industrial wastewater
effluents of interested industrial establishment. Studies concluded that a
central industrial wastewater treatment plant is economically, technically and
environmentally viable than several smaller treatment plants at each
factory.
We
look forward to provide our members in particular and the local community in
general with quality services to enhance our capabilities in advancing,
updating and enriching the technical, financial, managerial and marketing
capabilities of the industrial sector in Zarka and Mafraq Governorates .
